Our Society 1. Seeks to promote an awareness and understanding of the past, present and future of the Shire of Tweed and the southern section of the City of Gold Coast and their surrounding local government areas both in New South Wales and Queensland through research, scholarship and the acquisition, conservation and integrated presentation of appropriate material in the fields of maritime and local history, the environment and science, technology, industry, and the arts, in conjunction with the Tweed River Regional Museum and the Murwillumbah Historical Society Inc., and the Uki and South Arm Historical Society Inc. 2. Seeks to promote in conjunction with the Shire of Tweed, the development of the aims and objectives of the Tweed River Regional Museum and support its day to day activities and organization |
